John Andrews – Director
John Andrews has wide experience in recruitment across many sectors, including an in-depth understanding of the Defence, Aerospace and Security sectors. In addition to plenty of operational duty, during his Army career he worked in the MOD on procurement issues. He subsequently joined a company in the defence sector before following his instinct to move into recruitment consultancy. He has a well-developed appreciation of the cultural and commercial issues to be addressed in numerous parts of both the public and private sectors, particularly the emphasis on different personal skills needed to be effective in various settings. During his military career John completed a Master's programme in Defence Administration, developing a passionate interest in the relationship between leadership and management, a topic increasingly recognised as being relevant to every business and organisation.
David Bateson – Director
David Bateson is a recruitment and resourcing consultant with wide-ranging experience in engineering, shipping, business services, financial services and management consultancy. His first degree is in engineering, which he read at St John's College Cambridge; he also has an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College, London. David's early career was spent in the Royal Engineers and included service in Germany, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands. His final role in the Army, in the world of postings and career planning, led directly to a career in headhunting. Since leaving the Army in 1986 he has always been involved in working with client companies to recruit key directors, managers and specialist team leaders. His experience includes starting and developing a new search business as well as managing market-leading specialist recruitment teams.
Dawn Simon – Operations Manager
Dawn Simon joined the company in 2007 following an early career spent in a large FMCG organisation. She has a degree in Business Management and throughout her career has gained extensive experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development and Marketing.
